Super cute commercial for Microsoft Office 2007. All this pink and rabbits are reminding me that Easter holidays are coming ... nice!

It has been quite a long time since I last presented something. It's good to be back
, since now, after today's Microsoft Users Group (MUG.ee) Office 2007 event in TTU all the 'rust' is gone.
Since 90% of listeners were students, then my aim was to show how Word 2007 could bring simplicity in everyday's school home assignments.
I shared my own experience and brought out very specific examples regarding diploma work etc. Based on first feedback that was okay and quite intriguing. So my aim to show material between level 100-200 was very okay.
Little list for those who wanted to participate but couldn't about my Word 2007 demo part:
- Word UI features (Ribbon itself and it's Word specific features);
- Format Painter in different situations (double click feature!);
- Paste function in different situations ('mini' paste button!);
- Table formatting;
- Table headers (eg. header in every new page);
- Equation Editor possibilities;
- Microsoft Math (Add-in for Word 2007);
- Automatic reference list (pictures, table of content);
- Cover pages (how to define and use own cover pages);
- Creating new document from existing document (styles, structure);
- Saving a Style Set in Word 2007 and using it;
- Document Map;
- Headers and Footers;
- Tracking changes;
- Comparing documents;
- Combining documents;
- Document Inspector;
- Mark final;
- Saving possibilities.
In my presentation I also referred to interactive Word 2003 to Word 2007 command reference guide:
When you click the link below, the interactive guide will start. Once you're there, rest the mouse pointer over a Word 2003 menu or button to learn its new location in Word 2007. To see an animation of the location of the command or button in Word 2007, just click it.
And for last but not least - I used pre-configured trial Virtual PC machine with Microsoft Office 2007 Professional and Windows Vista:
This VHD contains both the 30 day edition of Windows Vista Enterprise Edition and an evaluation of Office 2007 Professional which includes Publisher, Excel, Outlook, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Word.
You can download it from here.

Did you know that there is Open XML converter for Mac Office also? Well there is and now my friend also knows about it.
You can convert Office Open XML files to a format that is compatible with Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac and Microsoft Office v. X for Mac. You can choose to convert and open one file, or convert a large number of files. This version of the Office Open XML Converter can convert the following Office Open XML file formats:
Word Document (*.docx)
- Word Macro-Enabled Document (*.docm)
- PowerPoint Presentation (*.pptx)
- PowerPoint Show (*.ppsx)
- PowerPoint Template (*.potx)
And actually this is probably one of the coolest install wizard that I have ever seen.
